Raised garden beds

Why should you raise your garden beds?

- If you have poor growing conditions or need to improve the soil depth (lots of rocks / clay / dirt / excessive weeds)

- If you don't want to have to bend down low to garden and tend to your plants.

- If you want to extend your growing season; Raised beds heat up more quickly in the spring and offer improved drainage for your plants.

- If you want to protect your garden from human and animal traffic.

When using raised beds, keep the in mind that sometimes more water is required as they tend to drain out more quickly and tend to be slightly hotter due to the sun covering more surface area.
